about us (fascinating stuff)
All About Amy
As you can see, I try not to take myself too seriously! Growing up I loved to create, and studied Fashion Design in college. Now I enjoy sewing, reading, cooking & baking, posting photos of my cat, and exploring the city. I'm a medical biller, but my dream job is to write human resource manuals for IKEA (really!).
My family's pretty big and I consider my aunts, uncles, and cousins as immediate family. We're spread out in age, so it seems like there's always a baby around - now we're into the next generation! We have a strong bond and caring for others comes very naturally to us. Our gatherings always include great food and lots of fun.
I've always known I would be a mom. One of our junior high art projects had us make a magazine cover of ourselves, 25 years in the future. Future Me was a fashion designer with seven kids! My dreams are more realistic now but take up just as much room in my heart.
Henry is part of those dreams. He is my rock and has been by my side through some very tough times. He's very down to earth, and pretty quiet, but still manages to surprise me all the time. Henry can always make me laugh, and I know he looks forward to sharing that laughter and love with a child!

Here's Henry
I grew up on Long Island with my parents and sister. Our neighborhood had a lot of kids, so I was very active riding bikes and playing sports.
Family and friends have always been important to me. I have a very close relationship with my family, and visit them often in Upstate NY. I was fortunate enough to watch my niece and nephew grow up, running home at lunch to spend time with them while my Dad was babysitting. There are a couple of friends I've been close with for most of my life. They're proof that you don't need to be related to be family.
My regular job is in accounts receivable, and in my free time I'm a wedding officiant. It's rewarding and fun working with couples to create their perfect ceremony. I enjoy photography and finding new places to take pictures. For entertainment I love watching comedies, sci-fi and fantasy stories, especially Star Wars.
Amy has always made me strive to be a better person, whether it was finding a better job, seeing new places, or trying different foods. I'm still a picky eater, but she'll make sure our child tries new things. Amy keeps my feet on the ground while allowing me to have my head in the clouds.
Being a husband and uncle have been, and are, wonderful. I would love to bring a child into our life and be a father too!
